Job Requirements
are listed as follows:
1. Must be at least 16 years old with a valid Driver's License and Social Security Card.
2. Must have reliable transportation. Car-pools and buses are also encouraged.
3. Must be dependable, on time, and dedicated to the full season. Students welcome.
4. Vacation time is not permitted during peak season unless arranged in advance.
5. Experience is helpful but not necessary. Enthusiasm, strength, endurance, and a positive attitude creates an enjoyable experience as you learn how to farm efficiently.
6.Must have a good work ethic, since of time, and understand that every second counts.
7. Must be able to lift up to 60+ pounds and kneel or squat for long periods of time while planting, weeding and harvesting.
** Employees must be present 100% throughout the Farm Season. The schedule is built to fit a seasonal time-line.
** Willing to work with students schedule.
**Farm work is extremely hard work and intended for the production of mixed vegetables, berries, and flowers.

Farm Work
Schedule and Payment:
Full-Time:
Work begins at 7:00am until 3:00pm for up to five days a week during peak season. Pay rate begins at minimum wage. You will get a raise as you improve your skills and time efficiency. You get a 30 minute paid lunch from 11:30am-12:00pm. You may glean food to take home after you clock out for the day. A W2 will be issued upon hire. Full-Time employees will have work starting April -October. (Start time may vary during early and late season.)
Part-Time:
Same description above applies for part-time positions. Part-Time employees will have work during peak season of June, July, and August.
What to Bring to Work:
Remember to pack a lunch and water container, bring appropriate gloves, long sleeves, hat, and/or sunscreen; waterproof shoes or boots, rain gear, long pants with pockets, and a time piece are required. On extremely hot days, shorts are permitted at your own risk.
Please always be prepared with the appropriate gear. The lack of long pants and gloves could slow down you down and be hard on your body. Always be prepared to work hard in all kinds of weather.

Activities such as planting, harvesting, washing and packing produce will take place in the cool mornings before lunch and followed by intensive weeding and/or other farm chores during warm and sunny afternoons.
