Farming at Spring Frog is both a lifestyle and a legacy. It’s about working with the rhythms of nature, building soil health, and nurturing life from seed to harvest.
Our 15-acre organic farm is managed with care and intention. We rotate crops, compost naturally, and avoid chemical inputs to ensure each plant grows in harmony with the land. The result is nutrient-rich food and thriving biodiversity. Founder Gretchen Norman began farming in 1999 and has worked across multiple farms before building her own holistic homestead. Her education in sustainable agriculture and healing arts forms the core of Spring Frog's farming philosophy: nature is the teacher, and balance is the goal.
Our approach is low-tech and labor-intensive, favoring handwork, observation, and intuition. From sowing seeds to harvesting pumpkins, everything is done with mindfulness and respect.
We serve a wide range of customers: families, restaurants, caterers, grocers, and co-ops. Whether through a CSA share or a farmers market visit, you're helping keep sustainable agriculture alive.
